Stay close to the mountains at Utpala House — a peaceful boutique retreat in the heart of Lahaul.
Utpala House is a small boutique stay of just eight rooms in Sissu village, on the Leh–Manali Highway in the Lahaul Valley. Traditional stone and timber sit alongside modern comforts — centrally heated rooms, hot water on demand, and mountain views from nearly every window.
Registered under the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development & Registration Act, 2002, we keep things small on purpose: a handful of rooms done properly, a cozy in-house cafe, and the kind of quiet that's hard to find below 3,000 metres.
